Each consumer can request for a free credit report once every 12 month period from any of the nationwide consumer credit reporting companies. This report may be requested by mail, phone, or by the internet.
How do I request to receive my free credit report?
TransUnion, Equifax, and Experian, the three largest American credit agencies, have come together to centralize consumer’s credit information by creating a website, address, and a toll-free telephone number where consumers can order their free credit report. To order your free credit report, consumers can visit annualcreditrepot.com, call 1-877-322-8228, or fill out the Annual Credit Report Request Form and main it to their Atlanta, Georgia office location.
